How to apply to be a Virginia Cooperative Extension (VCE) Master Gardener of the Central Shenandoah Valley:
The initial payment of $150 (checks only) must be mailed after the completion of your application but no later than the end of October. Make checks payable to CSVMGA and mail to CSVMGA, 965 Pleasant Valley Rd. Harrisonburg, VA 22801. Credit cards are not accepted at this time. Grants may be available if financial need is demonstrated. Inquire at csvmga.vol.coor@gmail.com
As part of the application process an interview is required. Interviews will be conducted between the date of your application and November 30th. Once your application and payment are received, an email will be sent to you to schedule the interview.
The second payment of $100 will be due upon acceptance into the program and must be paid by credit card online to VCE/Tech. Instructions for making the final payment will be emailed to you if you are accepted into the program. If you are not accepted, your initial payment will be returned.

Master Gardener programs are volunteer programs that train individuals in the science and art of gardening. These individuals pass on the information they learned during their training, as volunteers who advise and educate the public on gardening and horticulture.
