Whyalla - Auxiliary/Craft Group

Whyalla Hospital Auxiliary

The Whyalla Hospital Auxiliary run the Whyalla Hospital Kiosk, but that’s not all they do.

The Whyalla Hospital Auxiliary also organise fundraising events with all funds raised for the Whyalla Hospital and Health Service.

The Whyalla Hospital Auxiliary also have a Craft group, of which they dedicate countless hours to crafting a variety of items, from intricately knitted scarves and cozy blankets to charming handmade toys and decorative pieces of which they sell in the Whyalla Hospital Kiosk. Each creation is infused with love and care, reflecting the group's commitment to supporting the hospital and its patients.

The funds raised by the Craft Group are used to purchase essential equipment and improve patient care and comfort. Their efforts not only provide financial assistance but also foster a sense of community and compassion among volunteers and consumers alike.

Through their dedication, the Craft Group demonstrates that even small gestures of creativity can have a significant impact, weaving a tapestry of generosity and goodwill that enriches the lives of many.

The Whyalla Hospital has raised well over 1 million dollars and are still going strong.

The Craft Group get together every Wednesday to craft and connect with likeminded community members.
