The Tucker Trolley volunteers take around a trolley of various meals, snacks, beverages and other items to patients and staff to purchase.
The Tucker Trolley, bringing a touch of warmth and friendliness to the hospital environment. Patients often look forward to the cheerful chatter and smiling faces of the volunteers, who take the time to engage in light conversation and offer a listening ear. The staff appreciates the convenience and care provided by the trolley, which saves them a trip to the kiosk or shop, especially during busy shifts.
In addition to fulfilling practical needs, the Tucker trolley fosters a sense of community and connection within the hospital. It reminds everyone that even in the midst of medical challenges, small gestures of kindness and human interaction can make a significant difference. Hours -Tucker Trolley runs Monday to Friday 9am until 11.30am
