Heartbeat Whyalla Inc Volunteers run the Heartbeat Fundraising Booth at Entrance of Whyalla Hospital and Health Service which operates Monday to Friday 9am until 12.30pm - There they sell craft items, bingo tickets and so much more. Heartbeat also does a range of fundraising events such as morning teas, quiz nights and raffles to purchase medical equipment related to cardiac and lungs
But that’s not all they do the Heartbeat Volunteers also greet all consumers entering the hospital. With warm smiles and friendly hellos, they provide a comforting presence to patients and visitors alike. Their dedication goes beyond fundraising; they are an integral part of creating a welcoming environment for everyone who steps through the hospital doors. Whether they are answering questions, or simply sharing a kind word, the Heartbeat Volunteers ensure that each person feels supported and cared for. Their commitment to both the community and the hospital is truly inspiring, reflecting the heart and soul of Whyalla Hospital and Health Service.
Whyalla Hospital - Heartbeat Volunteers will also need to register with Heartbeat (done at the Heartbeat Booth - Monday to Friday from 9am until 12.30pm Monday to Friday
