Volunteers in residential aged care provide crucial support through companionship, social engagement, and practical assistance to enhance residents' quality of life and well-being. Residential aged care Volunteers also assist the Diversional Activities Coordinator with group activities, individual activities and planned outings and excursions. Common tasks include chatting and one-on-one visits, assisting with leisure and social activities like games or crafts.
Volunteers also support special interests, and contribute to the facility's atmosphere by sharing their skills and hobbies
Hours - Monday to Friday during business hours
Training - Annual Mandatory Training
