Hospital Inpatient Support Volunteers

Hospital Inpatient Support Volunteers

The Inpatient Support volunteers are an integral part of the hospital's supportive community, offering warmth and kindness to those who might otherwise feel isolated during their stay. Their presence brings comfort and reassurance, often making a significant difference in the patients’ overall experience.

Volunteers who choose to engage in activities with patients will find themselves participating in meaningful interactions that can brighten a patient’s day. These activities might include reading to patients, art projects or music therapy to name a few.

Overall, inpatient support volunteers embody the spirit of compassion and community, and their contributions are immensely valued by both patients and staff alike. Whether offering a friendly chat, assisting with small tasks, or engaging in therapeutic activities, each Volunteer helps create a nurturing atmosphere that promotes well-being.
