Oronga Day Centre
The Oronga Day Centre on Viscount Slim Avenue is run by Whyalla Hospital Home and Community Care. A group of volunteers work alongside hospital staff to provide various activities including a walking group, plus meals, transport and care to clients. Dedicated volunteers and staff aim to enhance the wellbeing of the clients who attend the Centre by promoting independence and valuing client input, while having fun. All volunteers are well supported by the Day Centre Coordinator and staff.
