Cancer Support Network Group

The Cancer Support Network Group are in the Cancer Resource Centre at Whyalla Hospital and Health Service every Wednesday from 9.30am until 1.30pm and has been set up as an inviting place where visitors can browse a range of credible health literature and access the internet for health information on cancer, treatment options, survivorship, and wellbeing. The Centre is an important link to community service organisations which may provide help to people in dealing with the challenging non-medical issues sometimes raised by cancer.  The Cancer Support Network Group also visit the Chemotherapy unit and offer patients receiving treatment coffees, snacks and social support.

The Cancer Support Network Group also manage the ‘Hair to Help’ wig library which is located on the 3rd floor of the Whyalla Hospital. There is a steady flow of clients that use this service.
