Help BCC Public Health with identity-first or person-first language, Autism and ADHD
Can you help with the below request ?
The Public Health Evidence team are currently conducting research for a Neurodivergence Deep Dive report. This is an in-depth health needs assessment that gathers research on health and wellbeing inequalities. The aim is to establish policy recommendations for Birmingham City Council, the NHS and other partners.
They are interested in hearing about the views of citizens on the use of identity-first or person-first language.
Your input will help to inform and justify their decision making as to which language type they use throughout their report.
You can help by filling in and sharing the public survey at Identity-first or person-first language, Autism and ADHD, Birmingham City Council - Be Heard
The closing date for the consultation survey is Monday 30th June 2025.
