In-Person Short Retreats (UBC Asian Centre) - Off-Site Volunteers
In these roles, volunteers assist with tasks prior to and/or after a retreat:
Teacher Driver
As teacher driver you will drive the teacher to and from their accommodation and the retreat setting. A teacher driver will have a flexible schedule and will be available before, during and after the retreat.
Transport Drivers
A volunteer transport driver assists the Volunteer Coordinator with picking up supplies and equipment from the BCIMS storage locker (750 Terminal Avenue) and delivering them to the retreat site 2 hours prior. At the end of the retreat, all supplies and equipment will be returned to the storage locker. Volunteers in this category will have a vehicle and will be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
