Here are answers to some FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
WHAT AGE DO I HAVE TO BE TO VOLUNTEER?
You become eligible to volunteer at 18 years of age or at 16 years of age with parent/guardian consent.
WHAT AREAS CAN I VOLUNTEER IN AT THE SHELTER?
We have a few areas in the shelter that need volunteers. Some activities are:
WHAT COMMITMENT IS REQUIRED FROM VOLUNTEERS?
Volunteers must be able to commit to a one hour shift every week, for the duration of a 3 month semester.
WHAT ARE THE SHIFT OPTIONS?
Shifts range from Monday to Friday between 10am-4pm. Each shift is a hour long.
WHEN ARE THE SEMESTERS?
WHEN DOES RECRUITMENT START FOR EACH SEMESTER?
WHEN DOES RECRUITMENT END FOR EACH SEMESTER?
Recruitment ends the week before the semester is supposed to begin.

Yes, we still need you to click on "Fill in an application" as your previous organization that is link to your log in, is not linked to our volunteer system. Please disregard the message that says : "Already use MyImpactPage.com to volunteer with this organization? Go to volunteer login"
WHAT DO I DO AFTER THE ONLINE ORIENTATION IS COMPLETE?
The volunteer coordinator will be in contact with you via email once they receive your results from the online orientation and then provide steps on how to select a shift.
IF I SELECT A SHIFT IS IT GUARANTEED TO BE MY SHIFT FOR THE ENTIRE SEMESTER?
No. The volunteer coordinator will be sending out an email to confirm if your shift selection was successful or not. Please do not show up for a shift until you have received the shift selection confirmation email.
