Heritage County Park - Planter Beautification Project at Heritage County Park
Join us for a hands‑on beautification day at historic Heritage County Park!
Come make a visible impact in one of San Diego’s most cherished outdoor spaces! We’re gathering energetic adult volunteers (sorry, no children this time) to help restore the park’s planters, remove rocks and weeds, and revitalize the landscape. This is a great opportunity to connect with nature, make new friends, and leave a lasting mark on the community!
Time: 9:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Meeting Location: Heritage County Park, Temple Beth Israel Foyer, 2454 Heritage Park Row, San Diego, CA 92110
What We’ll Be Doing:
-
Clearing unwanted rocks and weeds
-
Removing the old weed barrier and installing a fresh new weed barrier
-
Re‑arranging rocks into organized, artistic planters
-
Bonus (if time allows): Repainting and wood‑restaining the Heritage Park sign
No experience required, just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to get a little dirty!

Plenty of water
-
Close‑toed shoes
-
Light, comfortable clothing
