Bus Maintenance Volunteer
Hours: Flexible (generally 3–6 hours per week, can be shared)
Bus Maintenance Volunteers help keep the Safe Sleep Bus safe, and ready for nightly service. Tasks may include basic checks of pods and equipment, small repairs, coordinating washing, assisting with refuelling, and reporting maintenance issues to the Coordinator.
This is a hands-on role suited to practical people who enjoy fixing things and problem-solving. You may work independently or as part of a small team, helping ensure the bus remains reliable and welcoming for guests and volunteers. Driver’s licence preferred (MR licence helpful but not essential). Shifts are flexible and can be shared across multiple volunteers.
