Sydney Marathon
Did you know that Dementia Australia is again a headline charity, and that Dementia Australia volunteers help support a drinks station in Centennial Park each year?
This year, the Sydney Marathon will be held on Sunday, August 31, and we would love to have you join the team for a great day out in the park to support this global event.
Our location will be in Centennial Park, Randwick. This area offers natural shade, proximity to a café, toilets and a Light Rail stop, and plenty of free on-street parking, making it a great spot for our volunteers.
We’re always excited to welcome new faces, and this year, we are looking for 100 volunteers to join our volunteer team.
We encourage you to share this with anyone over 18 who might be interested in volunteering with the Dementia Australia Volunteers on the day.
