Volunteering in New South Wales

Did you know that Dementia Australia is again a headlining charity and that Dementia Australia volunteers help support a drinks station in Centennial Park each year?

This year, the Sydney Marathon will be held on Sunday, August 31, and we would love to have you join the team for a great day out in the park to support this global event.

We will have a similar location as in 2023 and 2024: In Centennial Park, Randwick a great location with natural shade and not too far from a café, the Light Rail stop, and free on-street parking.

We are always excited to welcome new members, and this year, the marathon organisers have requested that our drink station have 60-100 volunteers!

So, if you know anyone over 18 who would also like to join our volunteer team, please share this information with your network. Your referrals are greatly appreciated.
