Customer Service/ Front Desk

These volunteers are our frontline! They assist potential adopters at meeting their new best friend, facilitating in-persona and Virtual meet and greets! They give exceptional customer service and highlighting our dog and cats best features, while discovering the adopter’s needs and matching that too the right animal. They also assist with answering phone calls, emails, and putting information in our data management software. Volunteers in this position help keep us running, allowing our trained animal staff to offer direct care to the animals in our shelter.

Requirements: Age: 17+

Training: Must be able to commit to weekly volunteer shifts, follow written and verbal directions, be friendly and outgoing to visitors, and feel comfortable answering phone calls, emails, and learning our shelter software.
