General Maintenance
Are you a bit of a handy person? Our maintenance area needs volunteers who can help with a variety of tasks in maintenance, general upkeep and cleanliness of our equipment, tools and vehicles.
Examples of some of the tasks involved include:
- Sharpening and oiling secateurs and pruning shears
- Washing of motor vehicles and plantation equipment
- Assisting in the general maintenance or repair of equipment
- Pressure washing of paths and keeping walkways clear
- Clearing drainage areas that become blocked by leaves and debris
- Construct bits and pieces around the hospital to make things easier for our volunteers to care for our koalas in care.
