Syringe Service Program (must be 21+)
Program Description: The syringe service program distributes sterile syringes, provides safe disposal methods for used syringes and provides other tools to assist with disease prevention. The syringe service program follows harm reduction principles which is a set of practical strategies that reduce the negative consequences of substance use and other high-risk behaviors. Harm reduction strategies for safer substance use meet people “where they’re at” to address conditions of substance use while recognizing that people use substances for a variety of complex reasons.
