Kitchen - Food Security - Food Truck support
Feeding over 250 community members a day, our meal program provides nutritious and delicious meals to fuel the body and foster connection. During the redevelopment of our building at 320 East Hastings Street, we’ve transitioned to serving meals and promoting food security with our FIRST Food Truck! Volunteers helping here will spend about an hour to 90 minutes during lunch helping to serve meals right across the street from our new building at 320 East Hastings. You'll meet members of our amazing kitchen team and help to make a difference in the DTES.
Qualifications Required
- Hygiene Must be Hand Washing
- Lifting weight Must be at least Ability to lift 15 lbs. (6.8 kilos)
