Landscape / Restoration Volunteer
Restoration Projects focus on maintaining and replacing landscape around the Maidu Museum & Historic Site. Restoration projects are scheduled in the garden area, on the trails, and near the creek. Activities will include planting and watering the gardens; planting in the patio beds; and removing invasive exotic plants on the grounds. Work with restoration team to accomplish these tasks. Learn about native plants and help restore the Maidu Historic Site. The scheduled restoration work days are: Thursday mornings; typically 3 hours. New volunteers are accepted when space allows.
All volunteers working on-site for the City of Roseville are required to complete a no-cost Live Scan fingerprint scan as part of the application process. A valid government-issued photo ID is required to complete the Live Scan process.
MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD.
Qualifications Required
- Ability to Lift Must be at least Lifting not to exceed 10 pounds
- Walking Must be at least Moderate level of activity
