Offer hope and encouragement to pre and post-heart surgery patients and their families/caregivers.
This assignment is best suited for a volunteer who has experienced heart surgery and is comfortable sharing their experience, communicating empathy, and offering perspective related to having been a heart surgery patient in the past.
