Step One: Check out our current vacancies below.

Step Two: Fill in an application and create an account.

You will need to create a personal account and complete an application form.

Step Three: Attend an interview.

You’ll be invited to a phone, online or in person interview. After the interview, your application will be discussed at our fortnightly Volunteers Office Intake Meeting, where all applications will be reviewed and matched to current vacancies.

Step Four: Complete any pre-commencement checks and training.

This may include a NDIS Worker Screening Check and volunteer training and orientation.

Volunteers should have access to an email address and a smart phone.

If you are compassionate, patient and want to make a positive difference to the residents at Costa House Residential Aged Care, we want to hear from you.

Costa House, located on 65-acre property in Lara, is genU’s aged care residence for over 65’s with lower to higher care needs.

Volunteers are needed for face-to-face roles to foster a social connection with residents. You might be calling a game of bingo, reading the daily newspaper aloud or painting nails. Volunteer shifts are usually Monday – Friday and the hours are flexible. Training and ongoing support is provided.
