Outpatient Transport Service OTS
OTS will deliver a taxi style transport service to general outpatients in the South Metropolitan Health Service catchment area and for the Statewide Rehabilitation Service.
Specific responsibilities:
- meet and greet outpatients in a courteous and professional manner
- transport patients safely and efficiently between home and hospital
- ensure that patients are safely collected and dropped off at a designated pick up and drop off point
- have local knowledge of highways, roads and suburbs
- lift small items into vehicle with care
- (this level of detail not needed)provide general information to patients about the hospital and outpatient transport service
- ensure excellent quality of service at all times
- look after equipment while on duty such as vehicles, keys and radio/mobile phone at all times.
- be fit to perform the role and willing to undergo a medical clearance if required
