Job Description

Do you and your pet love to meet new people and put smiles on the faces of everyone you meet? Paws for Love might be the right fit for you.

With Paws for Love, you and your friendly, outgoing pet can visit local schools, libraries, nursing homes, hospitals, the airport, and more to spread love and cheer to the young and young at heart! We welcome dogs, cats and all other friendly and outgoing domestic animals to join the Paws for Love program.

Commitment

That's up to you! You can sign up for as many events as you would like!

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

Join our amazing team and spread joy and comfort across Erie County! You and your furry (or feathered!) friend can sign up for various event requests throughout the community, lifting spirits in unexpected places.

Every rescue, every adoption every happy bark, purr, and squeak - that's what drives us here at the SPCA.  We all share the same values and goals and believe every volunteer should feel the same! Everyone's help makes a difference for the animals!

Requirements

Calling all pet owners who want to make a positive impact on the community! Before you can take advantage of the volunteer opportunity our team will conduct a pet evaluation at the SPCA by a certified animal behaviorist.  Once approved, volunteers are put directly in touch with representative of the facility requesting visitation so a mutually-beneficial schedule can be discussed.

You'll also sprinkle kindness everywhere you go - it's part of our mission! From animals and guests to volunteers and staff, your exceptional warmth will make a difference.
