Job Description
Calling all tidy heroes! Our Animal Care crew needs a few superstar sidekicks to help battle the endless (but rewarding!) battle against laundry and dishes. We're talking clean dishes for hungry critters and fluffy towels for snuggly naps. All you need is a friendly smile and a willingness to roll up your sleeves!
Commitment
We're on the hunt for some dedicated volunteers to lend a hand for two fun-filled hours each week, anytime between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.! Got weekends free? Even better! That's when we really need your bright smile and helping spirit because things get extra lively on the weekends. So, if you're looking for a way to make a difference and have some laughs along the way, come join us!
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Think conquering mountains of towels and blankets and washing the meals from kitty dishes – all while flexing your organization skills on storage shelves sounds like fun? This is your chance to shine! Bonus points for keeping those detergent levels topped up like magic!
And dishes? Our industrial dishwashers are faster than squirrels on a sugar rush, but they still need someone to load up those food bowls, litter boxes, and Kongs.
While you're here, a sprinkle of your cleaning magic in the kitchen and laundry rooms will be much appreciated!

Requirements
Looking for a workout that blends laundry folding fury with friendly interactions? You’ll be asked to reach, twist, squat, bend, and be able to lift and push up to 20 to 30 pounds.
Yes, it can get a tad loud in the laundry room and kitchen, like a symphony of spinning washers and dryers along with dishwashers. But don't worry, you'll be surrounded by a vibrant crew of staff and volunteers, all cheering you on.
And speaking of disappearing acts, wear your sturdiest shoes on this adventure. The laundry room and kitchen terrain can be a bit uneven and wet, but hey, a little agility keeps things interesting, right?
You’ll also sprinkle kindness everywhere you go – it’s part of our mission! From animals and guests to volunteers and staff, your exceptional warmth will make a difference.
