Kitchener In Bloom

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Kitchener In Bloom Committee member.

The Kitchener In Bloom (KIB) program is a collaboration between the City of Kitchener and community volunteers. Through the program, residents who go above and beyond to ‘pretty our city’ may have their front yards recognized for their gardening efforts. The KIB committee is a working committee that plans and implements a program that recognizes all varieties of public-facing gardens, celebrates gardeners, and fosters community through gardening.

Meetings will be held virtually during the pandemic and will take place on 4th Thursday of each month from 4:30 – 6 pm, January through October 2021. Additional meetings and/or work outside of meetings may be required in order to accomplish the agreed upon committee work plan each year.

This opportunity is open to Kitchener residents or property owners. An interest in, or experience with, gardening is helpful, but is not required.
