Kitchen Support – Volunteer Group
Goal: Help serve a healthy and delicious meal to PATH’s interim residents. Key responsibilities include: setting tables with plates, silverware, cups, and fresh fruit; Greet PATH residents with a smile as they enter the dining hall; create a welcoming atmosphere by chatting and connecting with the residents; carry food trays to and from the kitchen to tables; Bus tables after meals are completed.
Group Size: 5-10 volunteers (must be at least 18+ or 13+ with signed Parent release)
Location: 1250 6th Avenue, San Diego, CA 92101.
Clients: PATH San Diego, along with several partners, opened Connections Housing in 2013. Connections Housing is an integrated service and residential community in Downtown San Diego, designed to help local homeless individuals rebuild their lives and move into permanent housing.
Schedule: Mon.-Sun. from 5:15-7:15 PM.
