Care Kits

Care Kits

Goal: Help PATH build relationships with our neighbors experiencing homelessness! This a perfect opportunity to get a group together and get directly involved in making a difference! This opportunity would involve you or your group hosting a drive or purchasing hygiene items and non-perishable snacks, and then assembling the items into 1-gallon sized plastic bags.

Group Size:  4 -15 volunteers.

Location: Kits can be assembled on-site or off site at a location of your choice.

Drop-off Location: Care Kits are accepted at 1250 6th Avenue, San Diego, CA 92101. Please note: Drop offs must be scheduled in advance and are only accepted weekdays between 8 AM and 4 PM.

Clients: Care Kits are the primary engagement tool that PATH utilizes to build relationships and connect with individuals experiencing homelessness.  PATH street outreach teams distribute the Care Kits to our neighbors experiencing homelessness all across California.

Budget: Costs vary depending on a volunteer’s capacity. Care Kits typically include the following: travel sized hygiene items, socks/underwear, and non-perishable snacks.
