Assisting visitors
Fair time only. The primary goal of a Florida State Fair Volunteer is to assist visitors. Below are some examples:
* Navigator - Strolls through the fairgrounds answering questions, showing fairgoers, directing guests to exhibits and reminding them which gate they parked their car.
* Greeter - Sits or stands at a door of one of several buildings, welcoming guests, directing them to exhibits and provides directions based on the Fair map.
* Large animals and cattle - Become familiar with the animals and where they are located (cattle, swine, llamas, goats, rabbits, poultry, etc.) Answer fairgoers questions with a smile.
