Youth Sports Head Coach (Ages 18+)

Coach kids ages 5–17 in soccer, basketball, or T-ball! Lead practices, sub in during games, and keep parents in the loop. No experience needed—just patience, energy, and a love for the game!

  Youth Sports Assistant Coach (Ages 16+)

Be a mentor on and off the field! Teach baseball basics, lead games, promote life lessons and character development for youth ages 5–17. Positive attitude required, baseball skills optional!

 Youth Sports Team Parents (Ages 18+)

Coordinate programs beyond baseball, such as education, health, and bullying prevention. Support players' character development and must be committed to the team for the season. Be a positive leader!

Special Event Volunteer (18+ for most events)

Help make our biggest community events a hit! Set up, decorate, run games, greet guests, and keep the fun going at Holiday Lights, Fall-O-Ween, and more. Expect to be active—weekends and holidays included!

Afterschool Tutor (Ages 16+)

Help kids succeed! Support students ages 6–18 with homework in subjects like reading and math. A great opportunity to make a real impact after school.

Park Beautification Volunteer (Age req. varies)

Help keep our parks beautiful! Pick up litter, spread mulch, clean play areas, weed, prune, plant, and more. Great for those who enjoy hands-on outdoor work!

Community Garden Volunteer Manager (Ages 18+)

Oversee a community garden! Lead garden workdays, communicate with plot users, organize events, and coordinate with Parks staff. Gardening know-how required. Team spirit is a must!

 

Front Desk Greeter (Ages 16+)

Be the friendly face of Parks & Rec! Greet visitors, hand out brochures, answer basic questions, and help people feel welcome. Bring your smile and customer service skills!

Volunteer Activity Instructor, Active Lifestyle Program -Seniors Program- (Ages 21+)

Share your skills with seniors! Teach a class in something you love: crafts, games, computers, music, or a language. Must be comfortable leading activities and working with older adults.

Historic Site Volunteer, Docent (Ages 14+)

Bring history to life! Give tours, help with events, care for the grounds, research, and preserve archives. Perfect for history buffs with a passion for storytelling.

Ticket Taker (Theater Events) - (Ages 18+)

Welcome guests, scan tickets at theater events, help ensure a smooth, enjoyable experience while keeping an eye on event rules. Ideal for those who enjoy live events and people!

Usher (Theater Events) - (Ages 18+)

Guide guests to their seats, distribute programs, and ensure everyone has a great—and safe—experience. Stay alert, assist as needed, and enjoy the show while helping others enjoy it too!

Gallery Assistant - (Ages 18+)

Support gallery events by helping hang exhibits, assist with receptions, welcome guests, and handle artwork with care. Perfect for art lovers who enjoy event support and creative spaces!
