The volunteer season will be kicking off again in May 2025! If you're interested in volunteering with us this season please fill in an application through Better Impact where you will be updated via email on orientation scheduling! Dates are typically posted a few weeks in advance and will be communicated to new volunteers through Better Impact.
Please note that orientations are held three times per season in May, July and September.
Much of the great work that happens at the UBC Farm is made possible by the continued support of the Farm’s dedicated volunteers. The UBC Farm volunteer program provides UBC students, staff, faculty members, and members of the wider community the chance to gain hands-on experience in many aspects of small-scale sustainable farming. Volunteer opportunities are available during the main growing season (May-October). New volunteers are required to attend a general Farm orientation before signing up for volunteer shifts and start in May and occur regularly through to October.
