About the Program
The Hub Library is looking for a volunteer to join our team to keep the library outdoor area neat and tidy.
Key Tasks
- Maintain the outside area in the immediate vicinity of the library
- Removing green rubbish and litter
- Clean outdoor furniture and general garden upkeep
Skills/Knowledge/Personal Qualities
- Enjoy being outside and able to perform general outdoor maintenance
- Ability to relate to a diverse range of people
- Happy to work as part of a team
- Able to follow direction from library staff
- Physically able to fulfil the role
Time Commitment
1-2 hour per week, between 8am-10am on Wednesday mornings.
Special Requirements
The successful applicant must possess and provide a Department of Human Services (DHS) ‘not prohibited’ Working with Children Check prior to commencement.
