About the Program
We are a small team, and we would like another person to join our team and help us with the daily maintenance of the outside of the Centre and helping to tend our garden.
Key Tasks
- Support our team.
- Assist with tiding and garden care of the Centre and its surrounds to ensure appearance and safety of the facility is maintained.
- Assisting with non-professional maintenance and projects and report any building maintenance requiring attention to Councils customer service team
- Ensure supplied tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored securely after use.
- Assist with room preparation/pack down and ensure Health Alert Checklists and processes are followed.
Skills/Knowledge/Personal Qualities
- Knowledge and ability to carry out general repairs and maintenance.
- Understanding of garden maintenance and care.
- Knowledge of relevant plant and equipment capabilities, and safe use of tools.
- Understanding of Work Health and Safety requirements.
Screening and Training Requirements
The successful applicant will need a "Cleared" DHS Working With Children Check and Aged Care Check. They will also need to be prepared to attend Child Safe Environments training. (We can organise these for you).
Time Commitment
Tuesday mornings weekly.
