Community Bus & Community Passenger Network - Drivers

Community Transport – Driver’s and non drivers

The Community Transport is provided by our Active Ageing Team to increase the wellbeing of older residents, and people with disabilities. The service provides transport for local residents who are unable to drive or use public transport.

As a volunteer with community transport you will be making a real difference by providing transport for people who are isolated.

We provide transport to attend the nearest shopping centre, community centre, library or social clubs. The service operates in most council areas on weekdays. Passengers are collected between 8.30 -11am and return times vary for each area. We are currently seeking volunteer drivers, to support these vital community services.
