Seaford Community Centre - Men's Activities volunteer

Men's Activities volunteer

About the Program:

The Men’s Activities Programs offer a range of relaxed, inclusive, and low‑pressure opportunities for men to connect, learn new skills, and strengthen their wellbeing within their local community. Through activities such as gardening, cooking, community BBQs, and group walks, these programs create welcoming, non‑clinical spaces where men of all ages and backgrounds can come together, build friendships, and participate in practical, enjoyable activities at their own pace.

Programs include Men’s Kitchen, which supports men to build cooking confidence and social connection through preparing and sharing meals; Dads & Kids BBQ, providing a child‑friendly environment for fathers to bond with their children and meet other dads; and Men’s Walk & Talk, a casual walking group that encourages conversation, movement, and community connection.

Across all activities, volunteers play an important role in helping foster a friendly, supportive atmosphere where participants feel welcome to join in however they choose.
