Communications and engagement

Initially working alongside our experienced communications team, then becoming increasingly independent as you become confident in explaining and promoting the work of Moors for the Future Partnership to members of the public (and project partner organisations). You'll get the opportunity to volunteer at both small and large events and functions. Examples of events include: village shows, music festivals, outdoor festivals, conservation activity days and guided nature walks focussed on our wildlife surveys.

Many events will involve using our state-of-the-art Bogtastic van - a mobile exhibition unit used to inspire members of the public about blanket bogs.

As well as promoting MFFP at events, there is plenty of scope to develop new engagement materials and ideas, e.g. for guided walks and talks, find additional events to add to our calendar of engagement and work with volunteers from partner organisations.
