Local Ambassador (in-person experience)
Get to know an amazing social change leader from another part of the world and help them feel at home in a new country and city
Overview: A Local Ambassador is a dedicated "first friend" who is paired with an incoming Atlas Corps Fellow in the same city for the first four months of the Fellowship. Local Ambassadors serve as on-the-ground support who help the Fellows adjust to the city, navigate through local culture, and meet up with them in-person once per month for a fun activity. In the past, Fellows and Local Ambassadors have gone hiking, visited museums, explored new restaurants, and attended networking events.
Time Commitment: 2 - 3 hours per month with a commitment of at least 4 months.
