Introductory Webinars for Volunteers

Are you ready to make a real impact on the River Thame catchment? You could become one of our Mink Raft Monitors. Join one of our online introductory sessions (hosted on Zoom) to learn how you can become a crucial part of the exciting project to restore water voles to their natural habitat.
What to Expect:
🌿 Get the inside scoop on our Water Vole Recovery Project in the Thame catchment.
🔍 Learn to navigate and record your hours on our online volunteer management system.
❓ Ask any burning questions you may have.
🛶 Get ready to register for an in-person mink raft monitoring training.
These sessions will last from 30 - 40 minutes.
By participating in these sessions and signing up as a volunteer, you'll qualify for our field training program where we'll cover everything from raft deployment and monitoring to species identification, data recording, and health and safety protocols.
Our goal is to deploy 65 rafts along the Thame by next February. Your involvement is vital, and we need you to make this vision a reality.
