Barn Helper- Ranch
🐎About the Opportunity:
Help keep our barn clean, organized, and running smoothly! As a Barn Helper, you play a vital role in creating a safe and healthy environment for our horses while supporting staff in providing quality care and programming at the Ranch.
✅ Considerations:
- Horse experience is NOT required
- Heavy lifting may be involved
- This role focuses on barn care and does not guarantee direct horse interaction
- Horse handling may require additional training
- Caution: the smells of the barn will become a scent you look forward to👃
- Be prepared to contribute to an amazing team!
What Volunteers will do:
- Assist with cleaning stalls
- Clean & fill water buckets & assist with filling hay nets
- Tidying barn & organizing/stocking supplies
- Pasture checks & clean up
- With training & staff support, may assist with bringing in & turning out of horses
- With training & staff support, may assist with grooming
- Remain open to & respectful to the training techniques and principles used & taught at the Ranch
- Maintain professionalism around staff, students & families
