About the Opportunity
Make a meaningful impact in the lives of others by volunteering in our Adult Enrichment classrooms! We're looking for compassionate, patient volunteers to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they engage in daily activities and learning experiences.
What will volunteers do?
- Assist staff with classroom activities, including arts and crafts, life skills, music, and recreational games.
- Provide small group support to participate as needed.
- Encourage social interaction and participation.
- Help set up and clean up materials before and after activities.
- Offer companionship and promote a positive, respectful and supportive environment.
- Follow all safety, confidentiality, and organizational policies and procedures

- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Comfortable working with adults with diverse abilities
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and teach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt to varying classroom and student needs
Impact
By volunteering in the art classroom, individuals help create meaningful experiences that support creativity, independence, and inclusion while making a lasting difference in the lives of our adult clients. No prior experience is needed, ust a kind heart, a willingness to learn, and a desire to help others thrive. Training and guidance will be provided.
Schedule
Tuesday through Friday, flexible shifts available during daytime hours.
