About the Opportunity
Event Support Volunteers play an important role in helping Easterseals create successful and memorable events that raise awareness and support for our mission. Volunteers may assist with a variety of tasks before, during and after an event, depending on the event's needs and their interests.
Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with event setup and breakdown
- Greeting and directing guests
- Staffing registration and check-in tables
- Assisting with parking and guest wayfinding
- Supporting fundraising activities
- Monitoring activity stations and participant engagement
- Providing general hospitality and customer service
- Taking photos and helping capture event highlights
- Assisting with merchandise sales
- Supporting special activities, games, or entertainment areas
- Helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized event environment
Qualifications:
- Friendly, positive, and professional attitude
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Willingness to assist wherever needed
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the event as required
- Commitment to supporting Easterseals' mission of empowering individuals with disabilities and their families
No prior experience is necessary. Training and instructions will be provided by Easterseals staff before and during the event.
