About the Opportunity

Support the Easterseals Scholastic Book Fair by assisting families with book purchases during afternoon shopping hours. Volunteers will welcome guests, help families navigate the checkout process, accept payments, and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for all attendees.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist families during shopping hours
• Basic technology knowledge and comfort using scholastic provided devices to process payments
• Accept electronic payments as instructed
• Maintain an organized checkout area
• Training available in advance

Qualifications:

• Friendly and customer service-oriented
• Comfortable handling payment transactions
• Ability to interact with families and children in a welcoming manner
