Volunteer Role: Monday Afternoon Art Workshop Lead
Mondays | 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM

The Monday Afternoon Art Workshop is a two-hour open studio space designed for deeper creative exploration and meaningful connection. This workshop invites neighbors to slow down, create, and express themselves through art in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Volunteers arrive at 12:00 PM for a brief check-in and to help set up materials and prepare the space. The workshop runs from 12:15–1:45 PM, offering participants time to engage in a structured project or open-ended art-making experience. The final 15 minutes are used for gentle clean up and closing reflection, with volunteers staying until 2:00 PM to reset the space and check out with staff.

No formal art training is required. This role is about presence more than perfection. Volunteers help guide the flow of the workshop, offer encouragement, and support participants in expressing themselves creatively at their own pace.
