CityHeART

Connect General Volunteers support the daily operations of the CityHeART Resource Hub Monday-Friday.

Tasks vary depending on scheduling availability, interests, and qualifications. General tasks during each shift include the following:

9am-12pm: Opening

• Morning clean-up
• Prep front desk for Host 
• Prep coffee and refreshments tables
• Set up welcome sign and open at 10am

10am-2pm: Hosting

• Greeting guests at The Hub
• Coordinating appointments, scheduling/reminders
• Friendly phone calls

12-3pm: Closing

• Afternoon clean-up, lock-up
• Assist guests with wrapping up for closing
• Take down welcome sign and close at 2pm

Other tasks may include:

• leading groups
• gardening
• preparing resource packages
• organizing donations
• assisting guests with using computers
• running workshops (art, self-care, yoga, music, cooking, etc.)
• developing educational content re: local community resources for our YOU-Connect knowledge bank

Position reports to Connect Program Director.
