Edmonton Valley Zoo

Purpose/Goals of Position:          

Assist other volunteers and activities, support activities as needed, communicate with the Special Event coordinators  

Responsibilities:                              

- Greet and sign in volunteers

- Communicate any problems that may arise to Event Coordinator

- Ensure volunteers are relieved for breaks

- Assist with stocking/maintaining volunteer greenroom(s)

 Supervision                 

-Event Coordinator(s) are available on event days for additional support

Requirements:                                  

- Past experience volunteering with the Special Event Unit

- Demonstrated leadership capabilities

- Knowledge of the Edmonton Valley Zoo site

- 16 years of age or older

- Ability to work under minimal supervision
