Volunteer Role Description for Events Volunteers

 

 

Purpose of the Role – To assist Hartlebury Castle with creating a fun, engaging, and informative experience for every visitor who comes to the Castle by helping with events and activities.

Tasks include – The main tasks will include providing a warm welcome to visitors at events, helping to set-up and take down small gazebos, tables and chairs, tear tickets, check wristbands, sell light refreshments, collect donations and other general stewarding duties to ensure people looked after and know what to do and where to go.

Qualities and skills required -

  • Friendly
  • Reliable
  • Good communicator

Time commitment – 2-3 hours per event
