Packing Day Manager

Managing the running of packing day, ensuring all volunteers know their roles and responsibilities. Oversee setting up the tables, setting up bag counting table, opening boxes, ensuring rubbish is taken away and packing things away at the end of the packing day. Dates, times and all details are sent out in advance of the packing day each month.

Hours: Approx 3 hours per month.

Location: Christchurch - 50 Sandyford Street, Sydenham

Training Requirements: This is a key role and training will be given working along side the OMTA staff until the volunteer feels confident to run the packing day activities. An OMTA staff member will be there to support the packing day manager throughout packing day. This will require the volunteer to come a bit early to packing day to assist with table set up etc.

Additional Requirements: This is a physical job and requires appropriate levels of fitness, standing for long periods and lifting.
No children (under 16) allowed.
