Team Leaders and Mentors

Some departments require Team Leaders capable of guiding a group of volunteers through a shift.

As a Team Leader, you're able to motivate and engage a team of five to ten individuals. Experienced Team Leaders may take on the role of Mentor and supervise a Team Leader in training during a shift. Responsibilities include:

  • Arriving prepared
  • Liaising among staff and volunteers
  • Welcoming the team
  • Reviewing the event
  • Assigning tasks and breaks
  • Troubleshooting as necessary
  • Supporting the team
  • Answering questions
  • Acting as a role model

A brief interview is required for anyone interested in this role. Departments include:
