Role Details
We are looking for volunteers to help with sorting through and organising the many donations we receive daily to ensure our teams can efficiently provide a wide variety of resources for our Friends.
This role includes (but is not limited to):
- Taking in deliveries of donations, either from our internal drivers or the public
- Taking in deliveries of our orders of fresh food, clothing and consumables
- Sorting store stock and identifying what we can use in meals and what can be included in our ‘Corner Shop’
- Putting together emergency support packs for our friends e.g. Tea/Coffee/Toiletries
- Supporting our Clothing team by sorting and storing donated clothing
- Date rotation of fresh, dry and tinned foods held in stores
- Making up food parcels
- Making up our ‘Make a House a Home’ orders
We’re looking for storeroom support Monday, Wednesday and Thursday for this role.
