Education - Operation Fresh Air

Event Description:

Enjoy a peaceful hike while connecting with others and exploring different habitats along the creek, fields, and woods at Sebald MetroPark. This trail is flat; however, it is wet and muddy after rain.

This experience, in partnership with MHARS and Butler County Veterans Services Commission, is an opportunity to unwind, recharge, and find peace in nature.

Task:

Assist staff in putting up signs, meet and greet participants, and hike sweeper.

Times and Locations

Thursday, July 30, 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Sebald MetroPark (5580 Elk Creek Road, Middletown OH 45042)

Weather:

We will work through light rain, but cancel for thunderstorms or severe weather.  Please check the forecast to ensure you all bring the necessary items and wear the proper clothing.

 

Accommodations: 

The MetroParks may provide accommodations to volunteer project participants depending on the nature of the tasks. Any request must be sent directly to the Manager of Volunteer Resources at least two days before the project begins
